61709 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Courts: What work from home policies and other flexible working arrangements, if any, does the Minister have for their ministerial offices and how many employees have them?

Hon Nicole McKee: The Ministerial Services business group within the Department of Internal Affairs is responsible for employing all Ministerial office staff (except Portfolio Private Secretaries who are seconded by the respective government agencies). I can confirm that the Department has guidance in place that supports the requirements of the organisation. Work from home and other flexible working arrangements in my office are considered on a case-by-case basis and require the agreement of my Senior Private Secretary. Information regarding the number of ministerial office staff with flexible working arrangements is not currently centrally recorded, and therefore I cannot provide these figures for the Member.
