61699 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What current policies, if any, does the Minister's department, if any, have on working from home or flexible working arrangements?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) that it does not have a formal working from home or flexible working arrangements policy. The Department has flexible working guidance, which supports the requirements of the Department and provides managers and employees with flexibility in how they mutually manage work arrangements. This is in line with the Public Service Commission’s current guidance on Hybrid working and Flexible-Work-by-Default.
