61631 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: How many employees are in the Minister's departments, if any?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that, as at 31 March 2024, the total workforce number was 4,521 full-time equivalents (FTEs). This is the latest validated workforce data available. I am advised by the Education Review Office that, as at 24 September 2024, it has 226.88 FTE (234 headcount) employees I am advised by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority that, as at 24 September 2024, it has 476.6 FTE (485 headcount) permanent and fixed term employees.
