61614 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: Prior to 16 September, what work, if any, has the Minister's departments, if any, done to scope or evaluate work from home policies?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that, as at 16 September 2024, the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) has undertaken one review of Customs Flexible Work Policy in mid-2023, since its introduction in 2019. This review introduced new hybrid working parameters that included staff working a minimum of three days in the office/workplace and a maximum of two days working from home.
