61595 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for ACC: What work from home policies and other flexible working arrangements, if any, does the Minister have for their ministerial offices and how many employees have them?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that the Ministerial Services business group within the Department of Internal Affairs is responsible for employing all Ministerial office staff (except Portfolio Private Secretaries who are seconded by the respective government agencies), and the Department has guidance that supports the requirements of the organisation. I am further advised that work from home and other flexible working arrangements are considered on a case-by-case basis and require agreement of the respective Manager or Senior Private Secretary. Information regarding the number of ministerial office staff with flexible working arrangements is not currently centrally recorded.
