61585 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Children: Prior to 16 September, what work, if any, has the Minister's departments, if any, done to scope or evaluate work from home policies?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that an initial steer on working from home was done as part of the flexible-by-default programme of work following COVID-19. I am further advised by Oranga Tamariki that in August 2024, an internal high-level assessment of flexible working was undertaken within Oranga Tamariki. Due to floor consolidation being undertaken with MSD, this process was paused.
