Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: What advice, instructions, communications, briefings, aide memoires, if any, broken down by date or title, has the Minister or their departments, if any, sent to the Minister of Finance or Minister for the Public Service around work from home policies prior to 16 September 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) has not sent any advice, instructions, communications, briefings, aide memoires to the Minister of Finance or Minister of the Public Service around work from home policies prior to 16 September 2024. I am advised by Education New Zealand that it has not sent, nor received, any advice, instructions, communications, briefings, or aide memoires to and from the Minister of Finance and Minister for Public Service around work from home policies prior to 16 September 2024. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 61552 (2024). For the Ministry of Education, I refer the Member to Minister Stanford’s response to written parliamentary question 61624 (2024).
