Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: What advice, instructions, communications, briefings, aide memoires, if any, broken down by date or title, has the Minister or their departments, if any, sent to the Minister of Finance or Minister for the Public Service around work from home policies prior to 16 September 2024?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency located within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC hosts the functional Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery through the Cyclone Recovery Unit (CRU), a business unit of DPMC. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not the Responsible Minister, the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 61832 (2024).
