61465 (2024). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many migrant exploitation complaints were received by the Labour Inspectorate in 2023/24, and how many of these, if any, were received through the 0800 helpline or the web form introduced in 2021?

Hon Brooke van Velden: Employment Services received 3,925 migrant exploitation complaints in the 2023/24 year.* Of these: • 1,250 were received from the 0800 Exploitation Mex Call line (or other Employment call line; • 2,585 were received from the webform; • 63 were received via internal requests; • 27 were received via other means (eg Crimestoppers, social media). *note complaints are received and assessed by the Triage and Allocation function of Employment Services.
