60219 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, was made in the quarter April to June 2024 to ‘Achieve cancer survival equity by 2030’ under Outcome 2: New Zealanders experience equitable cancer outcomes, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during this quarter (April to June 2024) the Cancer Control Agency released the Stem Cell Transplant Model of Care to Health New Zealand. In addition, the draft Radiation Oncology Model of Care and an updated draft Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy Model of Care were subject to sector engagement. All those models of care include an equity assessment on the model's impact on those individuals and their whānau who are most disadvantaged.
