60193 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, was made in the quarter April to June 2024 to ‘Progressively increase the age of eligibility for breast screening from 70 to 74 years’ under Outcome 4: New Zealanders have better cancer survival, supportive care and end-of-life care, as part of the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019 – 2029?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued planning and preparations for the rollout of age extension in the Nelson Marlborough district.
