60129 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Attorney-General: Was the Attorney General consulted at any time prior to cabinet papers being submitted on options for inclusion in the Gangs Legislation Amendment Bill (later the Gangs Bill) of escalating penalties that included adding a possession ban in private residences?

Hon Judith Collins: I was consulted on the Gangs Legislation Amendment Bill as part of Ministerial consultation. Any advice I provided as part of that consultation is legally privileged.
