60125 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: How much did these Consistent Condition Data Collection (CCDC) survey vans cost per van and how much did the total programme cost?
Hon Simeon Brown: The Consistent Condition Data Collection project is fully funded through the National Land Transport Programme 2024-2027 for the total of $18.3 million. This funding covers the establishment of the project through to the collection of condition data for around 80,000km of sealed local roads annually for the three years to support better asset management decisions. I refer the Member to my press release on this project: https://www.beehive.govt.nz/release/preventing-potholes-data-driven-technology
I am advised by NZTA that it does not hold the specific costs for the survey vans provided by GeoSolve and Wood & Partners.
