60098 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Education: How will the recommendations of the Māori Education Advisory Group be incorporated into the wider education policy, particularly in terms of addressing the unique needs of both Māori and English medium settings?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Māori Education Ministerial Advisory Group (MAG) recommendations will focus on the most impactful ways the education system can lift achievement for Māori students and close the equity gap that has persisted for too long in our education system. The MAG will support the development and delivery of the Māori Education Action Plan which will give effect to my six education priorities to deliver a world-leading education system so every child can reach their full potential.
