Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Does the Minister agree with the Cure Kids State of Child Health in Aotearoa New Zealand report 2023 recommendation for a better understanding of the drivers of rapid increases in mental health concerns and widening inequities, with better data needed across all groups in order to have a greater understanding of the scale of mental distress in the community so that the care provided matches need; if so, what, if anything, is he doing to address this?
