Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Does the Minister agree with the Cure Kids State of Child Health in Aotearoa New Zealand report 2023 that European/Other children living in socioeconomically deprived areas were significantly more likely to receive mental health services or be hospitalised for their concerns than were Māori and Pasifika children living in socioeconomically deprived areas; if so, what, if anything, is he doing to address this?
