Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Auckland: In light of the recent announcement that SeaLink ferry workers will be engaging in strike action from 24 September to 1 October due to pay disparities between SeaLink workers and those employed by Auckland Transport ferry providers, what steps, if any, is the Minister taking to address the concerns of these workers regarding wage parity?

Hon Simeon Brown: SeaLink is a private company and wage considerations, including parity with other ferry providers in Auckland, is a matter for SeaLink to address.
