60043 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Associate Minister of Finance: On how many occasions in the past 24 months has the Natural Hazards Commission / EQC paid compensation for land damage by paying the full cost of the covered land rather than the cost of repair?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that claims for 4,367 properties were settled by NHC based on the land cover cap amount for a land claim. This data represents claims that have been settled and have a date of loss from 1 September 2022 to 20 September 2024.
