Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: What analysis or modelling, if any, has been carried out by The Ministry of Education on the impact of a lack of specific special education provisions and/or supports on tertiary students with special educational needs, and how does this compare to students without special educational needs?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) has not carried out analysis or modelling of specific special education provisions. For information about the Ministry’s research into the experiences of disabled learners in tertiary education, I refer the Member to my response to written parliamentary question 54223 (2024).
