59945 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Associate Minister of Health: Is Te Whatu Ora proposing or considering raising the level of frailty required for entry into rest home care as one of the options for the Aged Care Funding & Service Models Review?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that Health New Zealand is looking closely at the clinical demands and requirements of older people across aged care services as part of its review, but it has assured me it is not considering raising the level of frailty.
