Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that individuals with eating disorders are treated in accordance with evidence-based international guidelines, including internationally accepted diagnostic criteria. I am further advised that because diagnoses of severe and enduring anorexia can be made in a range of settings, including general practice, Health NZ has no ability to accurately record the number.
