59935 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister of Transport: Did the Minister's department, if any, have a chief science advisor as of 1 July 2024; and if not, are there any plans for future hire of a chief science advisor?

Hon Matt Doocey: I have been informed by Maritime New Zealand and the Transport Accident Commission that as of 1 July 2024, neither had a Chief Science Advisor nor plans to hire one.
