Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Transport: What is the total sum, if any, of redundancy payments made to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible during the period 27 November 2023 - 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Hon Matt Doocey: I have been advised by the Transport Accident Commission that there were no redundancy payments made between 27 November 2023 and 17 September 2024. I have been advised by Maritime New Zealand that one person was made redundant during that time period, and that the details are being withheld to protect their privacy.
