Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: What is the total sum, if any, of redundancy payments made to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible during the period 27 November 2023 - 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, that during the period 27 November 2023 to 17 September 2024, the total sum of redundancy payments made to staff is $906,564, broken down by month as follows: • approximately $9,112 in May 2024 • approximately $897,452 in June 2024.
