59850 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Prime Minister: What is the total sum, if any, of redundancy payments made to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible during the period 27 November 2023 - 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: Two people were made redundant for the year 2023/2024 at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) which also hosts the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). To protect personal privacy, it is not appropriate to release the total sum of redundancy payments.
