59849 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Prime Minister: What is the total sum, if any, of projected future spend on redundancy payments to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible as at 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As at 17 September 2024, there have been no redundancy payments made in the year 2024/2025 to staff at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet which also hosts the National Emergency Management Agency. Additionally, there are no redundancy payments that are anticipated to be made.
