Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Land Information: What is the total sum, if any, of redundancy payments made to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible during the period 27 November 2023 - 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Hon Chris Penk: I have been advised by Land Information New Zealand the total sum of redundancy payments made to staff during the period 27 November 2023 - 17 September 2024 is $288,182.70. The payments were made in July 2024 and September 2024. The total for each month has not been provided due to privacy reasons as the information could identify individuals.
