59836 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Justice: What is the total sum, if any, of redundancy payments made to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible during the period 27 November 2023 - 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that the total sum of redundancy payments for the Ministry of Justice over the specified period was $329,555.17. Payments were made to five employees. Because the five payments were spread over three months, a breakdown by month is not provided, to protect the privacy of individuals.
