59833 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What is the total sum, if any, of projected future spend on redundancy payments to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible as at 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that it is unable to provide a total sum of projected future redundancy payments, as the Department is currently consulting on a change proposal. It would be inappropriate to assume redundancy costs during the consultation phase.
