59775 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Customs: What is the total sum, if any, of redundancy payments made to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible during the period 27 November 2023 - 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that between 27 November 2023 and 17 September 2024, the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) made a total of $4,783,547.39 in redundancy payments to staff. I refer the member to the attached table, which provides the sum of redundancy payments made to Customs staff by month.
