59772 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Customs: What is the total sum, if any, of projected future spend on redundancy payments to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible as at 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Hon Casey Costello: As at 17 September 2024 I am advised there is no projected future spend on redundancy payments to staff at the New Zealand Customs Service. This response includes the staff of the Border Executive Board Secretariat, as these staff are employees of the New Zealand Customs Service.
