59768 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Corrections: What is the total sum, if any, of projected future spend on redundancy payments to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible as at 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that no redundancy payments have been paid to staff as at 17 September 2024 as a result of Corrections’ cost-saving exercise. Following a recent change process involving the High Impact Innovation Programme, Corrections is working with affected staff to evaluate their employment options. There is currently no projected spend for the result of this change process. This is also my response to WPQ 59771 (2024).
