Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Agriculture: What is the total sum, if any, of redundancy payments made to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible during the period 27 November 2023 - 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised that the Ministry for Primary Industries have paid $4,461,819 to 102 staff in redundancy payments between 27 November 2023 and 17 September 2024. A monthly breakdown is not provided in accordance with Speaker's Ruling 199/6.
