59698 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: What is the total sum, if any, of projected future spend on redundancy payments to staff at ministries, departments and agencies, if any, for which the Minister is responsible as at 17 September 2024, by month and agency?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC also hosts the functional Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery. I am not the Responsible Minister; the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the Member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 59849 (2024).
