Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Education: What advice, information, briefings, or reports has the Minister or their office received, if any, on increasing accessibility of accommodations for high school students with special educational needs who do not meet current funding thresholds?

Hon Erica Stanford: I consider the following matters to fall within my learning support priority: • increasing accessibility of accommodations for high school students with special educational needs who do not meet current funding thresholds • increasing accessibility of accommodations for early childhood learners with special educational needs who do not meet current funding thresholds • legislation regarding specialist provisions or supports for high school students with special educational needs • legislation regarding specialist provisions or supports for early education learners with special educational needs. The briefings I have received on my learning support priority are listed in the attached table. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 59699, 59704 and 59707 (2024).
