Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: What advice, information, briefings, or reports has the Minister or their office received, if any, on increasing accessibility of accommodations for tertiary students with special educational needs who do not meet current funding thresholds?

Hon Penny Simmonds: The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) and the Tertiary Education Commission has not provided any specific advice, information, briefings, or reports in relation to tertiary students with special educational needs or neurodiverse students. For information about the Ministry’s research into the experiences of disabled learners in tertiary education, I refer the Member to my response to written parliamentary question 54223 (2024).
