59616 (2024). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Immigration: What is the number of immigration compliance visits, broken down by nationality of the person, conducted in each quarter since January 2017?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that in the time available to answer this question MBIE officials are unable to provide the number of compliance site visits since 2017 broken down by nationality. This is because in 2023 MBIE moved from a paper-based method of recording site visits to an electronic one. I am further advised that this information would require substantial manual review of a large number of files. I am not prepared to commit the time and resource required to provide a substantive response to this question in the time available.
