59223 (2025). Shanan Halbert to the Minister for Vocational Education: What are the actual or forecasted costs, if any, of rebranding Te Pūkenga to the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology (NZIST) spent $2,145 (GST excl) for an external vendor to update its website to reflect the name change. A small number of key digital templates (e.g. report templates, letterheads) were also updated however there are no separate costs associated with this work as it is done inhouse by NZIST staff.
