59178 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: In designing the Commerce (Promoting Competition and Other Matters) Amendment Bill, what additional measures, if any, did MBIE or the Minister consider adopting from the Australian Federal system?

Hon Scott Simpson: In developing the Bill, MBIE considered a range of Australian and other overseas measures. The Bill reflects a tailored package of reforms drawn from that policy process.
