Hon Scott Simpson: Guidance and information for consumers on the recall, handling and disposal, and health risk of asbestos in sand products has already been provided by the relevant agencies, including MBIE, WorkSafe, and Health New Zealand. These agencies have published advice on safe handling, disposal, and health risks, and continue to update the public as needed.
