Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: Has the Minister received any recommendations from WorkSafe New Zealand regarding further restrictions or a potential ban on the manufacture, importation, or use of engineered stone products; if so, what were those recommendations?

Hon Brooke van Velden: WorkSafe New Zealand has not made any recommendations to me regarding further restrictions on engineered stone products. The Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment provides advice and recommendations on regulatory interventions relating to workplace health and safety.
