Hon Judith Collins: The Government app was subject to governance and assurance processes at a number of levels, including regular oversight by me at Officials meetings, oversight by a six-member Steering Committee comprising the GCDO and external members, briefings to the Digital Executive Board overseeing the Service Modernisation Roadmap (of which the app is a component), and customer research to test and validate public need and demand for an app-based service channel.
