58981 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many of the approximately 600 graduate registered nurse roles at Te Whatu Ora described as “expected” before July 2026 will commence before 31 March 2026 and after 30 June 2026, if any?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the commencement date of each role will be determined by the relevant district directly with applicants through the offer and acceptance process, as part of our focus on building a healthcare system that has patients at its centre.
