Hon Karen Chhour: Oranga Tamariki had a specific appropriation to provide support to deliver a coordinated and effective Crown Response to the Royal Commission Abuse in Care Inquiry. I am advised total expenditure against this appropriation was $7.162 million in 2024/25. I refer the Member to the attached table which provides a breakdown by expenditure type. Note this expenditure includes the full cost of hosting the Crown Response Unit, which has subsequently been relocated to the Public Service Commission as the ‘Crown Response Office'.
