58978 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What is the full-time equivalent (FTE) breakdown of hospital-based graduate nurse roles offered in the most recent Advanced Choice of Employment round, if any, including how many are 1.0 FTE, between 0.8 and 0.99 FTE, between 0.6 and 0.79 FTE, and less than 0.6 FTE?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that FTE for individual nurses will be determined by each district through the offer and acceptance process. I am further advised that providing this information, as requested by the Member, would require Health New Zealand to undertake a significant manual collation exercise, diverting staff from essential services that deliver access to timely healthcare. I do not consider that answering this question is justified in the public interest.
