58970 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: How many participants, if any, are required for the second military-style academy planned for March 2026 to be feasible?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that Oranga Tamariki is planning for a minimum of eight young people to participate in the second Military-Style Academy programme. Note that while the intention is to begin a second Military-Style Academy programme in March 2026, the start date has not yet been finalised.
