58942 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 75669 (2024), how many contact hours, if any, will mentors, if any, on the second military-style academy planned for March 2026 be expected to work with their assigned participant?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that specific details regarding the mentors will be dependent on the individual circumstances. Therefore, I am further advised that it is not possible to confirm how many mentors there will be, when the roles will be advertised, or quantify the hours that mentors will be expected to spend with each young person. Note that while the intention is to begin a second Military-Style Academy programme in March 2026, the start date has not yet been finalised.
