58898 (2025). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Minister for Women: Does she agree with Nicola Grigg in August 2023 that she supported a requirement for large companies to report on their gender pay gap, if not, why not?

Hon Nicola Grigg: Yes, this was my position in 2023. Since becoming the Minister for Women, I have received advice from the Ministry for Women on gender pay gap reporting. Regulation alone does not drive significant or rapid change, which is why I have been focused on working alongside businesses to also create resources and support.
