Hon Jan Tinetti to the Associate Minister of Education: Will the Minister commit to publishing any consultation documents, discussion papers, or summaries of sector feedback produced by the Ministerial Advisory Group before decisions are made on changes to the ECE funding system; if not, why not?

Hon David Seymour: The Ministerial Advisory Group (MAG) has already undertaken engagement from September to December this year, and I am advised the group intends to proactively release an engagement summary. Additionally, the Terms of Reference for the MAG require the group to undertake public consultation on draft options before submitting a final report with recommendations for redesigning the Early Childhood Education funding system.
