Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Associate Minister of Education: Further to his answer to written question 55024 (2025): was his office first informed by the Charter School Agency on 20 February 2025 via a rapid response document requested by his office that the Bangerz Education and Wellbeing Trust previous bid to set up an Auckland Sports College charter school had been declined?

Hon David Seymour: I can confirm the Rapid Response dated 20 February 2025 was received by my office on 21 February 2025. This briefing provided formal confirmation from the Charter School Agency that the Bangerz Education and Wellbeing Trusts application to open Auckland Sports College was declined.
